Q + A

What is the weather like in Aspen during our wedding weekend?

Daytime: Comfortable highs (~ 60 °F) for outdoor activities Evenings: Drop to near-freezing—bring a warm jacket/wrap! Mountain weather can be unpredictable; prepare for both sunshine and sudden snow with a guarantee of BEAUTIFUL fall colors!

Are children invited?

We love your children dearly and feel lucky to have them in our lives. For our wedding day, however, we’re hoping to enjoy a celebration that’s just for the grown-ups. The ceremony and reception will be an adults-only event. If you need help finding a trusted babysitter in the area, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to assist!

Is there a shuttle service or will we need to drive between the venues?

If you are staying at the Crestwood or Viceroy, transportation to the wedding ceremony will be provided as well as transportation from the Snowmass Club to the after party at the Stew Pot. You will be able to call your hotel for a ride home from the after party when you are ready to call it a night!

Is there anything I need to know about the elevation in Aspen?

Aspen and Snowmass are truly breathtaking—literally! Our wedding takes place at around 8,200 feet above sea level, and high altitudes can affect your body if you're not used to it. To help you feel your best, here are a few tips: Hydrate like crazy: Start drinking extra water a couple days before you arrive and keep it going throughout your stay. Take it easy the first day: Avoid intense physical activity as your body adjusts. Limit alcohol: It hits harder at altitude—trust us! Snacks help: Light, frequent meals can ease any dizziness or nausea. We want everyone to feel great and enjoy the weekend fully. If you have any questions or need help preparing, we're happy to help!

Can I bring a date?

Our guest list is extremely limited, so please only RSVP with the names listed on your invitation!

Are there any cultural traditions or best practices guests should be aware of?

Before the ceremony, we’ll be participating in a meaningful Jewish tradition called the ketubah signing. The ketubah is a beautifully written marriage contract that reflects our love, partnership, and the values we’re building our life on. Traditionally, this is a more intimate moment with family and close friends—so we will let you know if you should plan to be in attendance. It will take place just before the ceremony at 4PM—so we will see everyone else promptly at 4:30!
